Betrayed by her first husband, Samantha packed up her life and drove out west. Never intending to stop in Montana, she felt called to the DeBron ranch. Landing a job as the cook was a life saver and, with the warm sunshine and fresh hair, she learned how to live again.

Not to trust though!

Charlie spotted the beautiful woman by the creek and couldn’t get her out of his mind. He had things to do. He didn’t have time to flirt.

So why was he riding by the creek – again?

Because something about the beautiful woman called to him.

Unfortunately, his strict moral code wouldn’t allow him to have an affair with an employee. So when he discovered that Samantha was none other than the new ranch cook “Sam”, he couldn’t allow himself to see her.

But he couldn’t stay away.

Marriage was the only answer. Being with Samantha wouldn’t violate his moral code if they were married.

Now to convince the little lady to take a chance on him. She didn’t trust men. Not after what her first husband put her through. But failure was not an option!

I adore Elizabeth Lennox, her books are always an automatic buy for me. However, I've noticed that, in her last couple series, I really haven't enjoyed her writing style. This book especially. Everything is inner monologue with the main characters barely speaking. What's grating is that the heroine's inner monologue is both obsessive and kind of juvenile. Like she's too innocent and too naïve. Usually Miss Lennox's heroine's tend to be more innocent than their alpha male counterparts, and that is a part of her charm. But the execution of this story wasn't done as well as some of her previous works. In fact, this seemed like the complete opposite of her former books. It's not that I didn't like the plot because, although her plots tend to be formulaic, I usually enjoy the way she tells the story. However, this time, I really didn't like the execution of this story. I really tried to read it but I found myself skimming and thinking "Is this it?" I wanted to read the first story in this series because I actually liked the second book. Unfortunately this one was a miss for me. I will still continue to buy her books and hope that she reverts back to her usual style of writing that I thoroughly enjoy.

Dangerous Seduction Montana Men Book 1 edition by Elizabeth Lennox Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

I went with 3 stars because.... The beginning was so slow. I mean months go by, talking about Everything but you never ask who the other works for?? Really??? And am I to believe 3 months and you never venture from having sex in the woods.... However, the last few chapters were a 5.
I love Elizabeth Lennox Books! They're always so fun and heartwarming!I loved how this book sets up the next five in the series by telling the love story if their parents and how each child cane to be part of their family. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I generally enjoy Elizabeth's books but this one failed to wow me. The story felt predictable and rushed. There were also inconsistencies, one minute describing Sam as blonde then dark haired. Her beta readers should have picked that up.

Other than that, I will still continue to support her.
Cute and entertaining short story about an unusual family. A woman is running from an unhappy marriage and divorce and needs a change of scenery. She meets a rancher and eventually happily marries. How their family grew is the main part of this story. It is a fun story.
An ok start to the story but with little character development and huge leaps of faith. . . The story is more rampant lust than romance. The story is just a vehicle for sex scenes. The story ends in a fairytale fashion leaving a saccharine sweetness with no content.

Good rainy day distraction but just lacks.
I really enjoyed the first third of the book. The last part was a bit confusing. The story seemed to skip to children showing up on their doorstep after the birth of their first child. I didn't quite get the point of children popping up . The story was not well written after the birth of the first batch y
Move over Southfork, Debron Ranch has more drama then any show. Samantha is the new cook for the ranch hands at Debron. What she never counted on was to fall for a hand or so she thought. Charlie had women but when he comes across a beautiful woman his life as he knows it is forever changed. When he meets the new cook he can believe she was his lover Samantha. What ensues is a love that transcends time. Loving someone was just the beginning. Believing in love was the bonus....
